H & R Reising Submachine Gun

The Reising Submachine Gun is one of the most common and least expensive submachine guns legally available today. Designed for the Marines in WWII, the Reising was innovative in its closed bolt select fire design and it fired the powerful .45 ACP cartridge. Unfortunately, the design was not well suited to the dirt and mud jungle environment that is was to be used in and it eventually found its way into the hands of war plant guards and the police where it performed well.
